Faith is the bedrock of Christian thinking. I cannot impress upon you the importance of reading Hebrews, the epistle of Paul. In that one chapter, Chapter 11, we are shown many examples of what Faith has accomplished. It's a memory aid, lest anyone forget.
In Hebrews we hear again of Enoch and his short life before leaving to go to God without ever suffering death. In the very next verse we read something of profound importance:
6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
You cannot be a Christian without faith. It's impossible.
