I was talking yesterday to an old friend and he said something that caught me by surprise. He said, "I don't want to give Satan too much credit..."
Hold it right there. "...too much credit..."???
I think that a million things were racing through my mind as I listened to him.
Satan is the absolute cause of all the trouble in the world. He has been since the serpent in the Garden of Eden. He should be given credit for it. There was a reason for him to be cast to earth with one-third of the angels in heaven. He is still a figure to be reckoned with. These is nothing small about him. He should be held accountable for all the destruction he has created on earth through the centuries. He should be given credit for it. He should be known as Satan, the absolute opposite of God in all the doings on earth. The minus to the plus.
The earth is a mess. It's getting worse every day. We should give Satan credit for it. The moment we do, we can start to begin a life with God, Jesus Christ and The Holy Ghost. Positive forces in a world racked by evil because of Satan.
So give credit where credit is due. Satan's work on this earth can be seen everywhere. He walks the earth and his angels walk the earth. His number is very great and he and they walk and live on the earth much like Jesus Christ did. He is stuck here and he is not very happy about it. He will do anything and everything he can do to harm and damage our souls. So far, he is doing an exceedingly good job.
So give him credit for what he is. Not worship. Recognize him as the creater of trouble in the world. He's the one. He gets credit for it.
Keep looking up to the heavens. Satan's control of events on the earth will soon end. When we see Jesus Christ's second coming, it's the beginning.
Your days are numbered, Satan.

1) When God wrote the Ten Commandments and gave them to Moses, "Why was Satan not mentioned as someone to be concerned of?
2) In Genesis chapter 6, God was angry and it repented him that he had made man and later would destroy man from the face of the earth, except 8 souls. Why was there not any mention of Satan in this chapter since Evil was present in man's heart & imagination?

were written by God himself. In person. As a mere mortal here on earth there is no way that I could even conceive of commenting on them. If I had a gun to my head I could not. They are the word of God. His reasons stand alone in their construction. They were written for man. Amen.
Your second question....There are many times that God got very angry at the people He was trying to get to the promised land. In fact, He mentions many times that their "hearts are hardened," against His word. The final straw was when the "sons of God saw the daughters of men and they were fair..." Genesis 6: 1-4. Noah was called to duty.
Some sections of the Holy Bible you may want to read. One, of course, is in Job. The first couple of chapters are most interesting. We have Satan saying a couple of times when responding to God, "From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it."
There is a especially revealing comment in Ezekiel 28:12-18.
There is much talking among the prophets of the devil, or Satan, but the most revealing is from Jesus Christ. In John 14:30 "I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me."
Than you for reading my post.
Gen 6:1-4....Note: there is not any mention of Satan here...
Eze 28:12-18....Note: Here it is talking about the prince/king of Tyrus
John 14:30....You wrote:
In John 14:30 "I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me."
Note: in KJV it reads different:
John 14:30>Hereafter I will not talk much with you: FOR the Prince of this world, and hath nothing IN ME.
When I read this verse, it takes me back to Jn 13:8>Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never Wash My Feet. Jesus answered him, IF I WASH THEE NOT, Thou hast NO PART WITH ME....EXTRA: Jn 15:3 Now ye are CLEAN THROUGH THE WORD which I have spoken unto you(11 minus Judas).
Note: Here(Jn 14:30) also, there is not any mention of Satan, at least by name...
In these three (3) places in scripture, including Isa 14-Lucifer) though Satan is not listed in the text, still it is believed by cantonmiller that these are speaking of the devil/satan. Why is it so?
In Acts 17:2, 17:11 is what starting me comparing scripture to scripture:
And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, three sabbath days REASONED with them OUT OF THE SCRIPTURES.
:11>These were more Noble that those(Jews v1) in Thessalonica, IN THAT, they Received the Word with ALL READINESS OF MIND, and SEARCHED THE SCRIPTURES daily, whether THOSE THINGS WERE SO....

Meanwhile, I don't reccomend waiting around for something like a so-called rapture, because, I believe the ALL Mighty helps those who help themselves ... AND works against lying hypocritical "Presidents" who swap our children's blood for oil .... [OHMY]
Reject the "new" Rome and embrace a form of Christian social activism that rejects legalized bribery and the war-culture it feeds needlessly ....
Choose alternative energy NOW and turn off your TV the next time you see some nutty televangelist spouting a bunch of non-sense about how the end is coming soon ...
