Sheryl: That is a minister talking about what he should be talking about, especially at the opening of a senate. A very rare sight today. Thank you for letting us know that there is at least one man carrying God's word to where it should matter.

bibletalk: That's a lot of questions tied up in one paragraph. I'll answer briefly. Paul was saying in 2 Corinthians that the gospel is hidden from those who have lost it due to Satan's actions. He is "the god of this world". Notice that there are no capital letters in that re-statement. When man gives up God, Satan is there to fill in. He just waits for that minute. The minds of the men from whom the light of the glorious gospel is hidden are truly blinded. They are lost.

Who's voice do I march to? There is only one voice but it comes in three parts---God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

    Thanks for your comment.

Jesus Christ didn't care much for lawyers either. That should tell you something.

Good story, Monica. Maybe a small financial contribution would help the pastor to pick up other children. Maybe the children themselves could hold something...like a lemonade sale. It's too good a story to let fall by the wayside.
